Håfa adai and Kia ora! I am a CHamoru Communication scholar from Guåhan (Guam) with research interests in Indigenous digital activism, decolonization, media discourse, and ideology in the Pacific. I currently serve as a Lecturer of Media and Communication at Victoria University of Wellington.

I am also a former journalist and policy analyst, and was a co-founder of the Fanachu! Podcast.

I also really enjoy street photography, brewing pour-over coffee at home and spending time with family! I’m currently reading the Neuromancer trilogy by William Gibson.
